About Free CV Builder

Free CV Builder is a simple, free tool that helps students make a professional CV without needing any experience, design skills or an account.

Why it exists

Writing your first CV is hard. You stare at a blank page, unsure what to include, and many "free" CV sites ask you to pay at the very last step before you can download. Free CV Builder was made to fix that: clear steps, tips written for students, and a download that is always free.

Who it is for

School, sixth form, college and university students in the UK, and anyone else writing their first CV. The tips follow UK conventions, but the tool works for anyone.

How it stays free

Free CV Builder is a small, independent project. There is nothing to pay, no premium version and no adverts. Every design, font and download is free for everyone.

Your privacy

There are no accounts. Everything you type into the builder, including your photo, stays in your own browser on your own device. We never see it. You can read the details in our privacy policy.
